Spreads among some Bauxite grades are widening, although we are concerned about China’s supply flows in 2021. Most buyers, the factory stated they believe the availability of volumes at the moment to be tight for calcined bauxite. With kilns across Shanxi either shut or operating at reduced capacity in winter as part of the government’s ongoing crackdown on pollution, a new production of calcined bauxite has begun.

SICHNEG bauxite assessed the price of calcined bauxite 85% at $420-440 per tonne fob China. Meanwhile, the price of calcined bauxite 86% stood at $435-455per Ton FOB Tianjin. Finally, the price of calcined bauxite 60-70% price stays the same as previous.
